The wait is over: Today, October 9, 2026, VETERAMA Mannheim opens its doors, and for three days, the Maimarkt grounds will once again become the center of the European classic and modern classic car scene.
Over the past few days, the grounds have been transforming bit by bit. Vans have arrived, boxes have been unpacked, vehicles have been positioned, and booths have been set up. Now everything is ready for a weekend full of classic cars, rare finds, encounters, and a genuine passion for tinkering.
With more than 4,000 exhibitors and over 280,000 square meters of exhibition space, VETERAMA Mannheim is Europe’s largest classic car show. But anyone who has ever been here knows that its special appeal cannot be described by numbers alone.
Today, the early birds have the place all to themselves
Friday is traditionally for those who can hardly wait. With the Early Bird ticket, visitors can start exploring today and experience the special atmosphere of the event’s first day.
For parts hunters, collectors, and restorers, this is the perfect opportunity to browse the booths early on. Maybe the exact headlight, emblem, carburetor, or rare original part you’ve been searching for is waiting for you somewhere.
But even without a specific shopping list, it’s worth exploring. Cars, motorcycles, tools, books, automobilia, and curiosities spanning many decades turn every stroll through the grounds into a little journey through time.
Even more events this year
In 2026, the supporting program will continue to expand. Look forward to presentations by the BMW Club and the VW Club, featuring air-cooled classics, buses, buggies, and much more, as well as the small Moto Guzzi bikes from the Falcone Club.
DS AUTOMOTIVE in Hall 2 offers a striking contrast to the classic scene. This exclusive tuning exhibition showcases extraordinary vehicles and highlights the many different ways people can express their passion for cars.
And on Saturday, VETERAMA continues into the evening: Starting at 6 p.m., the band Fresh will provide music and set the right mood with “Rock Unlimited.”
We have a whole weekend ahead of us
Today marks the start of what thousands of classic car enthusiasts have been looking forward to. The first cars will change hands, old friends will reunite, and somewhere on the grounds, the story of the next restoration project is likely already beginning.
Whether you’re an early bird today or coming to Mannheim on Saturday and Sunday: Take your time, go with the flow, and take a closer look at places where you weren’t even looking for anything in the first place.
That’s exactly where you often make the best discoveries at VETERAMA.
Welcome to VETERAMA Mannheim 2026—the doors are open!
