Europe’s largest classic car market sets milestone
From today, the Maimarkt grounds in Mannheim will be brought back to life by a genuine classic car festival: 50 years of VETERAMA – half a century of passion, technology and scene. Since 1975, when Winfried A. Seidel and Walter Metz launched the Mannheim Veteran Market, the event has developed into Europe’s largest classic and vintage car market. Today, VETERAMA covers an impressive 260,000 m² of outdoor space and 15,000 m² of indoor exhibition space – an Eldorado for mechanics, collectors and car fans.
4,000 exhibitors and a fascinating variety
What once began with 30 exhibitors is now an international stage for over 4,000 suppliers from all over Europe. Rarities, treasures in need of restoration, original spare parts and completely roadworthy classics are waiting to be discovered at every corner.
